Oman: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour with DP World continues to build global excitement for the marquee tournament, successfully completing its vibrant legs across Qatar and Oman after a symbolic launch at Adam’s Bridge, revered in India as Ram Setu.
In Qatar, the trophy made a striking arrival at the Doha Corniche aboard a traditional dhow, framed by the city’s modern skyline and reflecting the nation’s maritime heritage. Over the course of its journey, the trophy was showcased at some of the country’s most iconic locations, including Sealine Beach, Aspire Zone (Doha Sports City), Katara Cultural Village, Souq Waqif and Lusail Boulevard, giving fans unique opportunities to engage with cricket’s most coveted prize.

Fan and community engagement remained central to the tour. Public activations at prominent gathering spaces brought together national players, embassy representatives and community leaders, while interactive experiences and photo opportunities allowed fans to connect closely with the tournament.
The tour also placed strong emphasis on youth outreach, visiting Birla Public School, UDST University and Qatar Foundation, where thousands of students were introduced to the global spectacle of the T20 World Cup. Special interactions at Qatar Foundation highlighted inclusion through sport, including engagement with children on the autism spectrum. A dedicated event at Asian Town celebrated the South Asian workforce and its deep-rooted passion for cricket. The Qatar leg concluded with a picturesque sunset display of the trophy in the desert.
From Qatar, the trophy moved on to Oman, continuing its journey across sporting venues, cultural landmarks and public spaces. Key stops included Muttrah Fort, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman Across Ages Museum, Jabal Akhdar Viewpoint and Qurum Beach, providing scenic backdrops for fan interactions and media moments.
Youth engagement remained a highlight in Oman, with visits to Indian School Muscat and Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, allowing students to experience the trophy firsthand. Public displays further enabled fans across the country to be part of the celebration.
